International Women’s Day is a day to reflect on and celebrate how far women have come in achieving equality and how far we still have to go.

Bayside Community Care is excited to host an International Women’s Day Supper featuring a panel championing and embracing women’s equality in their fields.

Amelia Pickering – CEO, Prison Network – Prison Network works with women in and beyond prison, providing the support and courage they need to navigate positive pathways and create change.

Elisa Iurato – Chief Customer Officer, World Vision Australia – World Vision is a humanitarian, development and advocacy organisation devoted to improving the lives of children, families and their communities, serving all people regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or gender.

Glenys Reid – Managing Director, Chatty Café Australia – Chatty Café aims to help connect communities and increase social interactions by getting people chatting and reducing loneliness and social isolation. Glenys was awarded Bayside Citizen of the Year in 2022.

Stace Aslangul – CEO, St Kilda Gatehouse – St Kilda Gatehouse works alongside those reliant on street sex work due to hardship and young people impacted by child sexual exploitation, helping to address traumas such as family violence, addiction, homelessness, marginalisation, mental health challenges and social isolation.
