Job Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Provide visionary leadership and oversight to the children’s ministry area, developing a clearly defined vision and strategy for discipleship that aligns with the vision, mission, and values of Bayside Church.
- Teamwork: Recruit, train, and oversee a passionate volunteer team to carry out children’s programs and discipleship initiatives effectively.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all legal, logistical, and procedural aspects of running weekend and other children’s ministry events are followed, fostering a culture of safe ministry practices for vulnerable individuals at Bayside Church.
- Budget Oversight: Collaborate with other departments to ensure good financial stewardship, managing budgets, expenses, and procurement responsibly within the Children’s Ministry area.
- Curriculum Development: Oversee creating and implementing an age-appropriate, creative, and engaging curriculum for all children’s programs that develops their faith and curiosity.
- Pastoral Care: Partner with other departments to provide comprehensive pastoral care to the Bayside Church community.
