Our vibrant church community is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Children’s Ministry Leader to lead, inspire, and grow our children’s programs from walking through preschool to primary age. Join us in impacting the next generation, fostering their spiritual development, and coordinating activities that bring joy and faith together. Job Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Provide visionary leadership and oversight to the children’s ministry area, developing a clearly defined vision and strategy for discipleship that aligns with the vision, mission, and values of Bayside Church.
  • Teamwork: Recruit, train, and oversee a passionate volunteer team to carry out children’s programs and discipleship initiatives effectively.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all legal, logistical, and procedural aspects of running weekend and other children’s ministry events are followed, fostering a culture of safe ministry practices for vulnerable individuals at Bayside Church.
  • Budget Oversight: Collaborate with other departments to ensure good financial stewardship, managing budgets, expenses, and procurement responsibly within the Children’s Ministry area.
  • Curriculum Development: Oversee creating and implementing an age-appropriate, creative, and engaging curriculum for all children’s programs that develops their faith and curiosity.
  • Pastoral Care: Partner with other departments to provide comprehensive pastoral care to the Bayside Church community.
