Sleep at the B is an event for the next generation (ages 10-18 years) to gather together to raise awareness and funds toward eradicating youth homelessness.
We believe that all young people should be safe, and have a place to call home.
We believe in giving food to the hungry, water to the thirsty, welcoming the strangers, clothing those that need clothes, and looking after the sick and in prison. (Matt.25)
Melbourne City Mission will be sharing the reality of youth homelessness and what we can do to make a difference.
Participants will sleep on mats and eat bare minimum, with the aim of experiencing a slice of what homeless youth experience. There will be lots of activities throughout the event which raise awareness of youth homelessness.
