Bayside Community Care

Bayside Community Care is the benevolent care arm of Bayside Church and aims to provide restorative justice for those that are marginalised in society.  This is done by alleviating poverty and suffering and providing second chances where possible.

There are many ways to be a part of this vision and help meet needs. Some key projects include:

Matt’s Place
A community meals program operating one day a week in two locations, providing a homestyle hot meal for members of the community struggling with finance and/or loneliness.

Community Christmas Lunch
An annual Christmas lunch providing an opportunity for those who are alone and/or disadvantaged to come together and enjoy a traditional three-course dinner for free on Christmas Day.

Emergency Food Program
Available throughout the year to individuals and families facing financial difficulties.

Precious Baby Quilts
A service provided by Bayside Church supplying hospitals with handmade pouches for babies who are stillborn or miscarried.
