Bayside Church has raised $21,500 for the flood situation in Pakistan and all money will directly be donated to World Vision's aid response.
World Vision's Conny Lenneberg recently returned from Pakistan and shared her experience at Bayside Church. She described the situation as overwhelming large, that the flood areas affected span a similar distance from Brisbane to Melbourne and that people must respond to this desperate situation.

More than 20 million people in Pakistan have been affected and at least 1,600 have been killed in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and Sindh provinces. The UN estimates that up to six million people are in need of food and four million are without shelter.
Water-borne diseases such as diarrhoea; acute respiratory infections, skin allergies and infections, as well skin diseases such as scabies are major health issues for flood survivors in Pakistan. About 72,000 children are affected by severe malnutrition, according to United Nations officials.
Bayside Church is raising emergency relief funds and donations are welcomed at this time.
