Bayside Community Care
Bayside Community Care is the benevolent care arm of Bayside Church and is involved in many community projects. Bayside Church is strongly committed to reaching out to people in our community in a practical way. There are many ways you can be part of this vision and help meet needs. Here are some examples:
A community meals program operating one day a week in two locations, providing a homestyle hot meal for members of the community struggling with finance and/or loneliness.
Community Christmas Lunch
An annual Christmas lunch providing an opportunity for those who are alone and/or disadvantaged to come together and enjoy a traditional three course dinner for free on Christmas Day.
Emergency Food Program
Available throughout the year to individuals and families facing financial difficulties.
Precious Baby Quilts
A service provided by Bayside Church supplying hospitals with handmade pouches for babies who are stillborn or miscarried.
The Careline Team
The Careline Team is a Christian helpline, supported and advertised by the Australian Christian Channel, 89.9 Light FM and Ultra FM in Tasmania.
